August 3, 2008 Dear Marnie, I assume by now you've taken a look at our website and seen our list of Semi-Finalists. Although Follow The Signs did not ultimately end up on that list, I wanted you to know that our judges liked your script very much and it did advance to our "tie-breaker" round -- meaning it was in the top tier of Quarter-Finalists. You should be truly proud of this. The scoring was extremely close this year, and with a different group of judges that list of Semi-Finalists might have been different, as well. Remember, this is a very subjective business. I know it's disappointing to come so close and not quite make the cut, but do know that your script is very strong. I urge you to keep refining it and continue sending it out whenever you have the opportunity. Many of you have had previous successes here at the PAGE Awards and elsewhere, so you already know you have talent. I hope you also know that this business is not a sprint -- it's a marathon. I encourage you to stay in the race! Best regards, Jennifer Berg Administrative Director The 2008 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards www.InternationalScreenwritingAwards.com

Dear Marnie,
Our Quarter-Final judges are now in the process of reading and
evaluating your screenplays, and their scores, combined with the scores
of the First Round judges, will determine the twenty-five Semi-Finalists
in each of our ten genre categories.
